Fyers Announces New Single ‘Feelings’ with a Release Concert in Berlin

The alternative R&B artist returns after a five-year hiatus with a powerful new single, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Berlin, October 18, 2024 – Berlin-based artist Fyers, known for her unique blend of alternative R&B and emotionally charged lyrics, is set to release her highly anticipated single, ‘Feelings,’ on October 18, 2024. This release marks her return to the music scene after a five-year hiatus, during which she focused on recovering from a battle with cancer. Fyers has faced immense personal challenges in recent years, but through resilience and reflection, she has found her way back to music with renewed energy and perspective.

‘Feelings’ was born in Berlin, where Fyers met the people who helped bring her music back to life. The song is structured like an opera in four acts, representing the emotional journey through heartbreak, longing to feel again, rediscovery of feeling, and the inevitable heartbreak that follows. Produced by Ariane Voss, the song offers a dynamic soundscape that mirrors the depth of Fyers’ emotional narrative.

“This song is more than music to me—it’s a reflection of everything I’ve experienced over the past years. Coming back to music after such a difficult time feels like a rebirth,” says Fyers.

Fyers, whose songwriting is influenced by artists like Banks, Tove Lo, and The Weeknd, didn’t start writing music until high school. However, her journey with words began at age 9 when she discovered Sylvia Plath and fell in love with poetry. This artistic foundation led to her distinct lyrical style, which shines through in her latest work.

‘Feelings’ will be followed by a release concert in Berlin on October 18, 2024, at Das Gift, Donaustr. 119, 12043 Berlin Neukölln, starting at 8:00 PM.
